Ciara is an Irish Emmy-nominated makeup artist, musician, painter and writer from Dublin, Ireland but now living permanently in Vancouver, Canada.
She is a member of the local Film Union, IATSE 891, and has spent the past 16 years working as a freelance artist in Fashion, Beauty, Commercial, TV and Film.
She’s done it all from working with celebrities and musicians, working backstage at London Fashion Week, having her work featured in magazines and on cinema screens across the globe, as well as self-publishing her first paperback book in 2017 entitled “How to succeed in the Beauty Business”.
This book made it onto bestseller lists upon its release, as well as being sold in bookstores and in airports across the UK and Ireland. It was also featured at IMATS Vancouver, Los Angeles and New York as well as being on the recommended reading list for many makeup schools worldwide.
It now happily lives on the shelves in many libraries across the globe, from China to Vancouver, in a bid to help new artists navigate their way through a sometimes murky industry.
She is currently researching and working on her third book project.
Ciara is available for all types of makeup applications, film work, music videos, commercials, lessons, red carpet events, weddings, photoshoots and is open to travel.
Ciara is also an avid painter and has had her work exhibited at shows as well as displayed on restaurant walls.
